World Environment Day Celebrated At Velammal


Velammal Main School, Mogappair Campus in its  go green mission organized the 'SAPLING PLANTATION DRIVE' on the occasion  of World Environment Day 2022  in association with Indian Oil Corporation Limited and The Ashoka Tree, NGO in its campus on 5th June, 2022. The programme commenced seeking the divine grace through a melodious.


Prayer song and  was presided in the auspice presence our honourable guests Mr. Balakrishnan Naik General Manager, HR (IOCL) and Smt. Sravana Rajan, The Ashoka Tree, NGO and Shri K.S. Ponmathi, Senior Principal. The honourable guest addressed on how to safeguard nature for the future by  highlighting the importance of plantation of trees and asserted to instilling in students good habits to secure a better place to live in.


An array of programs was staged and the students took up the Go Green Pledge to look after the planted saplings, plant more and more trees and encourage others to do the same.


This Plantation Drive was an exclusive initiative by Velammal  to enable the students to enhance their intellectual & social growth.

Career Launcher opens Study-Abroad centres across cities to meet post-pandemic demand for international colleges.

New centres in Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Bangalore, Kolkata, Amritsar, Chandigarh, Panipat and Mysore Career Launcher, the EdTech arm of CL Educate, announced a significant push to its study abroad vertical by launching 12 study-abroad centers across eight cities.
