International Yoga Day Observed At Velammal

Velammal Main School, Mogappair Campus observed the International Yoga Day on 21st June, 2022 at the school premises on the theme 'Yoga for Humanity'.

The programme commenced seeking the divine grace through the Lord's prayer and was presided in the auspice presence of our honourable Chief Guest Ms. Yoga Vaishnavi, International Gold Medallist and a Multiple Guinness World Record Holder in Yoga.

The unique day featured innumerable benefits of yoga and the significance of celebrating International Yoga Day, 2022 , with the theme being briefed. Several hundreds of students geared up to perform various Yoga asanas with great enthusiasm depicting Yoga as an important tool for promotion of good health and wellbeing. Finally, the Chief Guest addressed the students and emphasized to enhance the soundness of the mind and the body through yoga. The day concluded on a healthy note.

An initiative by Velammal setting a reminder to all to incorporate yoga in every day routine to enjoy a happy life and reduce the ill effects of stress and other physical ailments.
